Richard Howley takes the win at the Costa Del Sol Tour

Also in Mijas there is an equestrian tour during three weeks. The second day of the first week Costa Del Sol Tour was totally made for the young horses. Today they al had a Barema A with Jump-Off. In the class for seven year old horses six combinations got into the jump-off. Victory was, just as yesterday, for the Irish rider Richard Howley. He rode a clear jump-off with Carpe Diem Z (s. Clintissimo Z) and was really fast in a time of 37.67 seconds. No-one could beat his time. Dutch Doron Kuipers ended on second place with El Capone M (s. Baloubet du Rouet). They also managed to stay clear, but were slower in 40.41 seconds. Sanne Thijsen completed the top three with the Canturano offspring Etna. They came true the finish in 42.02 seconds. Diego Perez Bilbao ended on fourth place with Julysse (s. Epleaser Van 'T Heike) and Radovaon Sillo was fifth wit Dr. Max (s. Toulon). They finished in 43.64 and 44.27 seconds. Belgium's Maxime Harmegnies won the class for six year old horses. He got a clear round and also managed to stay clear in the jump-off with Elastique Van De Koekoek (s. Figo de Muze). We noted a time of 30.56 seconds in the jump-off. Kevin Gielen tried to beat this time with Dexter (s. Diarado), but was just a little bit slower in 30.79 seconds. Diego Perez Bilbao ended on third place with Kansas Vd Withoeve (s. Prince van de Wolfsakker). They stayed clear in 31.78 seconds. The top five was completed by Maxime Harmegnies with Castania 6 (s. Cassiano) and Radovan Sillo with Kartouch Van T Klavertje (s. Bamako de Muze). They had zero penalties in the jump-off in respectively 31.78 and 32.53 seconds. The Dutch rider Yves Houtackers managed to take the win in the class for five year old horses. He rode a clear jump-off with Gently Gerdine NJ (s. Contact vd Heffinck) in 36.52 seconds. Belgium's Cassandre Malherbe was second with Come What May Z (s. Chippendale Z). They kept the zero penalties on the scorebord and this in 37.21 seconds. Maxime Harmegnies was third with Gremio (s. Spartacus). For them there was also a clear jump-off in 37.44 seconds. Further in the top five we saw two more British riders. Emily Llewellyn ended in fourth place with Mr Bullseye (s.
