For the second leg of the AIEC Nations Cup series 2013 a total of 16 countries are heading to Sighisoara, Romania. The AIEC SRNC Romania already won twice the Award as best SRNC of the year. This year Mihnea Virgolici combined the organization with the FEI Baltic Championships 2013, contributing to the Romanian Government's ambition to attract tourism and topsport to this region of Romania.
After the first leg of the Student Riders Nations Cup series in Belgium it is Germany who is in lead in the President's ranking. With a total of 100 points it is followed by Ireland in the second position. Sweden completes the interim stage with the third place. Valuable points will be collected in this years Nations Cup in Romania. Strong countries such as Germany, France, Ireland, Great-Britain and Belgium will battle to get their ticket for the Golden League at the World Finals of this year.
From the 16 starting countries only ten countries will be able to gain the necessary points for the final ranking. These are; The Netherlands, Germany, Great-Britain, Ireland, Belgium, France, Spain, Sweden, Canada and Romania. Last Year it was Ireland who took home the victory in showjumping. The USA and Belgium followed in a second and third place. The president's ranking was won by Germany.
