Rob Ehrens and Kauert speed to victory in Aachen

The first edition of the CSI2* in Aachen concluded his second day with two 1.40m classes on the agenda. In the 1.40m speedclass it was Dutch Rob Ehrens aboard his Belgian Warmblood mare Hisa (Indoctro x Parco) who speeded to victory. The pair finished clear in 68.40 seconds, leaving Irish Darragh Kenny and Global vh Baunerthof (by Vigo d'Arsouilles) in a second place. Ehrens' compatriot Tom Martens (Ebaja Oh) finished third in a time of 70.83 seconds. The top five was completed by Niels Knape (Suarez) and Ashford Farm-rider Marlon Zanotelli (Rock 'n Roll Semilly). In the other 1.40m class it was Germany who coloured the win. Christof Kauert and Orplid (by Orlando) set the fastest time finishing in 33.63 seconds. Belgium's Marc Boes and Bocelli II (by Baroncelli) finished with only a couple of hunderest of seconds difference. Dominic Webb and Alvatore (by Salvatore) completed the stage in this class.
