Robert Whitaker seizes first place in World Cup Qualifier Göteborg

Only two riders managed to clear all the fences in the exiting jump-off of the World Cup Qualifier class in Göteborg tonight. The best of these two was British rider Robert Whitaker. With Cash Sent (Verdi), he seized the first place in 37,15 seconds. Stephanie Holmén took the second place. With Carma (Cardento), the Swedish rider set the fast time of 37,71 seconds. Marcus Ehning and his top horse Cornado NRW (Cornet Obolensky) had the fastest time of all in the jump-off, but four penalties kept them from winning. They ended up in the third place. Steve Guerdat and Corbinian (Cornet Obolensky) finished fourth for Switzerland while the Belgian rider Olivier Philippaerts and Icos (Cicero Z) finished the top five.
