This morning it was Jarno van Erp who claimed the first class of the day. In the next class an answer to the Dutch hegemony at de Peelbergen came from Rodrigo Giesteira Almeide. The Portugues rider claimed the CSI2 * 1.35m two phases class ahead of an international stage followed by Robin Ingvarsson and Ozgur Ozkan. About halfway in it was Almeida and his mare Umea Blondel who put the winning time on the clock. In the saddle of Selle Francais mare the rider took the quickest rout on course and finished in 24.13 seconds. Sweed Ingvarsson and the BWP mare Jiska of Kloosterbos (v. Thunder of Zuuthoeve) did come close to the Portuguese rider with a time of 24.69 seconds. But had to settle with for second place ahead pfOskan and the KWPN gelding Borland B, that took the third place for Turkey. Home honers were defended by Patrick Lemmen and Sisko du Chai who put down a really good ride on his Selle Francais gelding Dollar Dela Pierre. ]Closing in on the numers one, two and three the duo took 24.82 seconds on course and finished in fourth. The top five was completed by the Turkish rider Derin Demirsoy. He rode his BWPer Jazzy D (v. Toulon) around the second phase of the course in 25.12 seconds
