Romain Lavigne tops second day in Lyon

At the CSI2* event during the Equita Lyon, France - Home rider, Romain Lavigne took the win in the 1.45m Grand Prix qualifier. Aboard the 12-years-old Pharaon Belle Menee (by Tresor du Renom Ac) he finished in 60.52 seconds. The pair was followed by compatriot Benoit Desjuex and Sarcelle de Gys (by Allegreto SF). They finished almost 3 seconds slower. The third place was taken by Swiss show jumper Emilie Paillot. Aboard the 10-years-old Robert le Dyable (by Quatar de Plape AA) she stopped the clock in 65.41 seconds. The top five was completed by Philippe Leoni (Carriere) who already placed in the top five yesterday. Fifth place was for by Camille Conde Fereirra with Pirole de la Chatre (by Flipper d'Elle SF). Wesley Newlands and her own Evita van de Veldbalie (by Wandor vd Mispelaere) finished clear in 69.38 seconds. The pair finished as best non-European pair in 14th place. A total of 35 pairs out of the 89 starters finished clear.
