The Land Rover Puissance at the Dublin Horse Show is the  richest Puissance in the world and always provides some great competition and today was no exception. The crowd were as enthusiastic as ever and really got every rider. The atmosphere in the arena was truly electric and in between rounds announcer Brendan McArdle coaxed the crowd into doing the Mexican Wave. Thirteen out of the fifteen riders went clear in the first round. As the height of the wall went up each round, more and more riders bowed out, including a fall for Marlon Modolo Zanotelli. In the end it was down to two riders, Sameh el Dahan (EGY) and Andres Rodriguez (VEN), who had to battle a 2 metre 20 wall. El Dahan cleared the wall with the 13 year old Irish gelding Seapatrick Cruise Cavalier ( x Cruise On), much to the delight of the crowd. Rodriguez also cleared the wall but earned four faults for disobedience when his horse Caballito stopped on course. Full Results  Photo : Sameh el Dahan ©Equnews.com - Lorinda Crowley
