British show jumper, Scott Brash has won his first class in Calgary ever. Just before the FEI Furusiyya Nations Cup leg at Spruce Meadows, Canada, the 1.50m class was claimed by world number one. Aboard the 9-years-old For Pleasure-son Hello Fever he left compatriot Guy Williams and Casper de Muze (by Triomphe de Muze) in a second place. Third place coloured American thanks to Jack Hardin Towell Jr. with Lucifer V. The top five of the class was completed by Jerome Hurel (Ohm de Ponthual) and Robert Breul (Qody de St Aubert). Only 10 out of the 27 starters qualified for the jump-off.  Apart from the top five also French pair Alexis Borrin and Ruby de la Fosse (Cabdula du Tillard x Bocage de Longane) finished their second round clear.
