Scott Brash writes history at Spruce Meadows

It seems like the current world number one is invincible. At the Spruce Meadows show in Calgary, Canada, Scott Brash took home the Rolex Grand Slam victory. This means the British show jumper writes history being the first to win the three Rolex Grand Slam's. Before Brash already won those in Geneva and Aachen. Therefor he claims an extra one of no less then 1 Million Euro. Brash and sBs-horse Hello Sanctos were the only to keep it clear in the two rounds. After the first round a total of 12 horse-rider combinations got through to the second round. Ten of them kept the rails in place. Two years ago he won; Pieter Devos, today he followed in a second place with Dylano. Brazilian Pedro Veniss and Quabri de Lisle finished third.   It was a beautiful sunny day in Calgary and the crowd cheered up for the riders entering the ring. With some of the new Tulip fences that proved to be harder as expected. After his victory Brash declared to be the luckiest person in the world at this moment. Not only the victory in the Grand Prix, but accomplishing the Rolex Grand Slam victories made him feel good, he declared with an eternal smile.
