This week the International Spectacle in Falsterbo hosts the FEI Furusiyya Nations Cup Europe Division I. Today the five-star riders kicked-off in Sweden, a lot of pressure is on the riders, as Falsterbö is one of the last selection competitions for the teamchefs to decide their Olympic riders/team. In the opening 1.45m class no less than 12 combinations did not finish. A total of 21 pairs finished with time penalties, while 26 combinations produced a clear round. Fastest time was set by Shane Sweetnam and Cyklon, stopping the clock in 59.77 seconds. Paul Estermann followed in a second place. Aboard his KWPN-horse Bareina he crossed the finish in 60.68 seconds. The pair left Belgium's François Mathy Jr. and Falco van de Clehoeve in a third place. CLICK HERE FOR ALL RESULTS
