Sharn Wordly unbeatable master in Tryon's GP

Tonight the Tryon Equestrian Center was set for the 130,000 USD FEI Grand Prix, set at a height of 1.50/1.55m. Jack H Towell continued his form as he was the first to qualify for the jump-off aboard the 12-year-old Belgian Warmblood-mare Emilie de Diamant A.S. (by Diamant de Semilly). Eleven combinations later Ireland's Richie Moloney and the sBs-sire Button Sitte (by Ogano Sitte) was the second combination to qualify for the jump-off. Shortly after Sharn Wordly and Barnetta (by Baloubet du Rouet) produced a clear round in the technical track. Eventually nine combinations returned for the jump-off. Sharn Wordly and Casper (v. Contender)  crossed the finish faultless in 40.614 seconds, speeding to victory in this international CSI3* Grand Prix. Conor Swail followed as runner-up aboard the 9-year-old Belgian Warmblood stallion Hetman of Colors (byCalvaro Z). The stage was completed by Sharn Wordly and Barnetta (by Baloubet du Rouet). Jack H Towell and Emilie de Diamant followed in a fourth place, while he placed fifth aboard the 10-year-old KWPN-gelding New York. The latter set a fast record time with one rail down. Towell and the VDL Groep Verdi TN N.O.P.-son did win the 1.45m welcome stake earlier this week at Tryon.
