The 15 year old mare Silvana HDC (Corland x Widor) ridden by Frenchman Kevin Staut is injured. While in her stall at the Longines Global Champions Tour of Chantilly the mare injured her metacarpal. As one of the main contenders for the French Team at the World Equestrian Games this year it now seems that Silvana will not be able to compete. It is hoped that the mare will be ready for the indoor season later this year. Everyone here at Equnews wishes Silvana a quick recovery.
