With only six combinations to go, the jump-off in the CSI5* 1,50m/1,55m in Verona was very exciting. Tomorrow the show jumping riders ride their world cup competition. In the end, it was French rider Simon Delestre who won with Chesall Zimequest (Casall x Concerto) in 42,24 seconds.  The pair already claimed a win earlier today in Verona. Delestre and Dutchman Maikel van der Vleuten aboard Salomon (Stolzenberg) were the only two riders who went clear. Van der Vleuten crossed the finish in 45,66 seconds and placed as runner-up. Austrian show jumping rider Max Kühner left the wood untouched. Together with Alfa Jordan (Air Jordan Z) Kühner completed the stage with one time penalty. The pair was followed by Belgium's Niels Bruynseels (Ganzia de Muze, v. Malito de Reves) in fourth and former Olympic Champion and World Cup finals winner, Steve Guerdat (Cayetana, v. Robin II Z) in fifth. Both combinations with one jumping fault in the jump-off. Click here for the complete result.
