Linda Starkman's dream of creating a world class show facility among the rolling hills and wine country of Paso Robles became a reality with the completion of the Paso Robles Horse Park. Featuring an immaculate main grass hunter and jumper arenas in addition to other arenas with superior GGT-Footing, spacious permanent stalls, a gorgeous grass berm, the Turf Club, created for spectators to enjoy the events, art and wine parties for both exhibitors and spectators, and many more amenities, the Horse Park exceeded all expectations and earned high accolades for the 2015 season, including being awarded the USHJA Member's Choice Award for the Central California Classic. "I would like to thank Linda Starkman for creating this exceptional facility and working with our team to present such an exciting show series for 2015," commented Dale Harvey of West Palms Events. "We are so grateful as well to the sponsors, competitors, owners and trainers who believed in us and jumped in whole-heartedly to support our inagural show season. We can't wait for next year!" West Palms Events is honored to announce that the Central California Classic at the Paso Robles Horse Park earned the 2015 USHJA Member's Choice Award! West Palms Events would like to thank everyone - competitors, spectators, owners and sponsors who supported this incredible new facility in its inaugural season! In the $10,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby, Jamie Taylor and Zaretina earned first, Philip Cillis and Willow CBF took second place and Kristin Hardin and De Koningin rounded out the top three. The $25,000 CWD Grand Prix of Paso Robles, A GGT-Footing Grand Prix Series Event, also saw Kristin Hardin in the top three, this time in jumper gear. Lauren Hester and Warinde B took the blue, Kristin and Bert second, and Jamie Barge and Luebbo put in a super effort to take home third place. Central California Fall Classic During our Halloween costume class at the Central California Fall Classic, there were so many elaborate and creative costumes that it was nearly impossible for our judges to select a winner. In the end, it was Jeff Fields in his fetching and feminine outfit complete with blond pigtails who took home our grand prize. Central California Oak Tree Classic An exciting finish in the Oak Tree Grand Prix marked our last Grand Prix for the inaugural season at the Central California Horse Show Series and of West Palms Events' 2015 season! It was an emotional achievement for Lindsay Archer and Camerone, as they took the blue in the Oak Tree Grand Prix, marking Lindsay's first career win. Alicia Foster aboard Zubliem earned second and Susan Hutchison and Ziedento took home the third place ribbon.
