Speedy win for Gregory Wathelet in the Grand Prix of Valkenswaard

Twenty-one, was the number of riders in the CSI2* Grand Prix at the Tops International Arena in Valkenswaard. It was Gregory Wathelet that took home the gold medal of this 1.45m show. Twelve out of twenty-one riders managed to put in a double clear round, Wathelet and the nine year old Sandro Boy were the fastest in 35,85 seconds. Bertram Allen was just a tiny little bit slower with Calafrieda, an eight year old Canto 16-daughter. Pieter Devos finished in 36,33 seconds with the nine year old Jade vd Bisschop (Ogano Sitte). Ben Maher followed over a second later with Jackass (Der Senaat). Olivier Philippaerts completed the top five with the nine year old Cigaret JVH Z (Clinton). Click here for the results.
