At the start of the new year there's a new number one show jumping rider. After months being the runner-up Switzerland's Steve Guerdat has taken over the Longines Ranking number one spot from Dutch Harrie Smolders. Also Marcus Ehning and USA's McLain Ward have switched places as Ehning jumps into third place and McLain follows as fourth. Sweden's Peder Fredricson Holds on his fifth place and is followed by Daniel Deusser while Ben Maher moves one spot up to the seventh place.
