While the rain is reigning in Calgary, the Tbird show jumping park can count on a nice warm weather and some sunshine to keep the riders happy. In the 1.40m competition on thursday Jenn Serek and Showtime Trading LP's Zagita proved to be the fastest of the five horse-rider combinations. Lisa Carslen followed aboard Parette while Megan Garcia took in the third spot in this class. With the High Junior Amateur riders it was Alexandra Perry and Dahlia who rode to victory in today's class. Set at a height of 1.40m she finished 5th on thursday, returning with a smile out of the ring. Aboard Cyra de Laubry Z, breeded by the Belgian farm Haras de Laubry, Alexandra also claimed today's third spot. Tiffany Sullivan and Christian Grey eventually ended second. Only 5 cm lower Bryna Closson and Blitz tried and succeeded in winning the class. The pair left Helena Belkin and Bini Balou on the second spot. Dominique Shone (Colbinetta), Lisa Carlsen (Parette) and Laura-Jane Tidball (Liam) completed the top five who got classified in this 1.35m Open Jumper class. Tomorrow there is a class in honor of John Anderson's brother. The reason why the Rocky Mountain Showjumping-owner is at Tbird at the moment... hopefully to win!
