Sweden's National Jumping & DressageTeam announced

The Swedish federation and Chef d'Equipe - Sylve Söderstrand, have announced the national show jumping team for 2016. Malin Baryard Johnsson, Rolf-Göran Bengtsson, Henrik von Eckermann, Angelie von Essen, Peder Fredricson, Douglas Lindelöw, Charlotte Mordasini and Helena Persson are in the A-squad. The B-squad is filled with some promissing new riders. Jonna Ekberg, Nicole Persson, Evelina Tovak and Alexander Zetterman are in the B-squad. All of these riders proved to be ready for the heigher level CSI5* competitions in 2015. For the dressage riders it was team captain Bo Jenå who announced the two Swedish Grand Prix level squads. The Swedish federation aims to achieve a team medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics, which take place 10 - 15 August 2016. The two Swedish Grand Prix squads are separated into an elite squad and a national team squad. The Rio team riders will be selected from the elite squad. The Elite squad is composed by Paulinda Friberg, Patrik Kittel, Rose Mathisen, Emilie Nyreröd, Minna Telde and Tinne Vilhelmson Silfvén. The National dressage Team Squad 2016 is filled by; Charlotte Haid Bondergaard, Mads Hendeliowitz, Jennie Larsson, Marina Mattsson, Juliette Ramel, Anna Svanberg, Ebba von Essen and Kristian von Krusenstierna.
