Tbird week II starts under shining sun

Thunderbird week II started yesterday with perfect weather conditions. A shining sun and nice temperatures was enough to bring Gareth Graves his victory in the 1.40m Open Jumper competition. Aboard Babette he left Audra Fleck-Snijders and Rainland WH Luxury on the second place. The third spot was claimed by Lauren Crooks and Dancer. Just 5cm lower, the 1.35m class, it was Lindsay Beadle and Cartini who were unbeatable. Laura-Jane Tidball and Enrico placed second while Joelle Froese and Romeo's Child completed the stage of this class with 5 starters. The Junior Amateur Jumper, set at a height of 1.30m, was won by Polish-Canadian, Mariola Slawinski. The Edmonton-girl rode to victory aboard her 13 year ols Lavos Z. In total 12 riders came to start. Melissa Tomkins and Bally Graffan followed in a second place while Stephanie Valdes and Canterbury Tales completed the stage. International student rider Cierra Chmiliar and her Bob's Your Uncle ended 9th, just outside the ranking. In the CWD 2G Open Jumper 1.30m it was Andrea Strain and Djakarta who took home victory. The pair was followed by Laura -Jane Tidball (Armus GS) and Andrea Strain (Killossery Kruisey) ending second and third.
