The SFN has seen and tested multiple horses lately and now purchased two of them that were strongly advised by the selectors. Both are five year old grey mares: The first one listens to the name Iceman B SFN and is a Mylord Carthago daughter. Mylord Carthago is currently very succesful under the saddle of Pénélope Leprevost. The combination competes at the highest level of showjumping. The dam's sire is Corland and the dam's dam's sire is Nimmerdor. This mare was bred and owned by Hans Busger, who remains co-owner. Selector Willem Greve rode Iceman and his experience was the same as what the other selectors saw from the ground. "Sharp and forward with a scope. It feels like she doesn't have a lot to offer but this horse gives a feeling greater than expected." says Willem. The second mare is Ileanne SFN, an Eldorade vd Zeshoek daughter out of  a Silverstone-mare. Breeder is A Schoones. It was the second time for the selectors to see this horse and this second time she was tested by Willem. This experience and what was seen by the other selectors led to the purchase of this mare. Both horses will be schooled according to the SFN I system, meaning that they'll get their time to develop and their riders will be considered carefully. Iceman SNF will be schooled by Sjaak Sleiderink and Ileanne remains at Teus van den Brink's stables for now.
