The 59-year-old Thomas Fuchs, has a broken febula after falling from a horse. The show jumping teamchef for Switzerland has undergo surgery and may probably leave hospital by the end of this week. Thomas Fuchs is Martin Fuchs' father and coach. Fuchs helped his team to the Bronze medal at the last European Championships in Aachen, 2015. Now he'll have to guide and coach his riders on crutches. Thomas represented Switzerland in showjumping at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona. His brother Markus acted as chef d'equipe for the Swiss equestrian team at the 2012 Games in London, where after Thomas took over his job.
