In august 2013 Denmark is hosting a very special sporting event, the European Championship in both dressage and jumping for the senior riders, as well as the European Championship for Para Dressage. The event will be held in Herning, Denmark, on and around the large football stadium at the MCH Hernings land.The competitions for jumping and Dressage riders run on the big football stadium MCH Arena, Herning. Before that field can be transformed into an Equestrian court, 22,000 custom-made rubber mats are required to be laid out before running special sand on the big court.
