Today it was Nations Cup day at the international show jumping in Sopot, Poland. In the second round of the FEI Furusiyya Nations Cup series a total of eight countries battled for the win. Just like in the first round the time allowed was the hardest 'obstacle' to conquer. Eventually Team Ukrain returned home with the win. Cassio Rivetti (Fine Fleur du Marais), Ulrich Kirchhoff (Prince de la Mare), Ferenc Szentirmai (Chadino) and Rene Tebbel (Giljandro van den Bosrand) finished with a total of 0 points. Last team member at the start, Rene Tebbel, didn't even have to start his second round after the magnificent performance of his team mates. Team Austrian placed second. Julia Kayser, Christian Thomberg, Roland Englbrecht and Max Kühner collected a total of nine points, good for the Silver stage. Belgium's team finished third. Teamchef, Dirk Demeersman picked Nicola Philippaerts (Bisquet Balou C), Niels Bruynseels (Cas de Liberte), Karel Cox (Cor van de Wateringhoeve) and Jerome Guery (Grand Cru van Rozenberg) as the representative 'Belgian jumping devils'. The team finished with a total of 12 points. Spain and Danmark completed the top five of this Nations Cup series finishing fourth and fifth.
