Victory for Bertram Allen at the Horse and Friends Event in Opglabbeek

The yearly Horse and Friends Event started today in Sentowerpark, Opglabbeek in Belgium. This morning 56 young horses started in the CSIYH1*. Victory in the class for seven year old horses went to Ireland. Number 16 in the world, Bertram Allen rode a clear round in 26.29 seconds with the Indoctro offspring Christy JNR. Belgium's Thierry Goffinet ended in second place with the stallion Jonsaunier Dwerse Hagen (s. Vertigo Saint-Benoit). They finished in 27.01 seconds. Jos Verlooy completed the podium on the back of his Zangersheide gelding Fayette Sept Z (s. Figateo du Ri d'Asse). They also stayed clear and this is 27.11 seconds. The top five was completed by Thomas Brandt (Cataleya 3) and Romy Morssinkhof (Vivolta de Gree). Q-Verdi). The Zangersheide mare finished with zero penalties in 23.72 seconds. Matheo Ferreira Gomes Correa followed in second place with Eclipse's six year old mare Anoush du Chesnay (s. Jarnac). This combination stopped the clock in 24.54 seconds. Charlotte Bettendorf was third with Fee 913 (s. For Ever Jump). Further in the top five we saw Patrick Jonkmans with Kamiel van het Langwater (s.
