With the 13-year-old gelding Fandango (Last Liberty 988 x Krocket 651), the British rider produced one of thirteen clear rounds to move on to the jump-off where he was the fastest one stopping the clock on 37.16 seconds. Over a second behind followed Ireland’s Richard Howley on Chinook (Tygo x Wellington) while Spain’s own Rutherford Latham took care of the third place aboard Ramses d’Auge (Hello Pierville).
