Today's win in the 1m45- competition of Donauschingen was for the British rider William Whitaker. Aboard his 12-year-old Dutch-Warmbred Upperclass (s. Concorde), whitaker concluded his course in 56:18 seconds. The pair was immediatly followed by Bulgarian Rossen Raitchev (Cappoccino) and the Dutch rider Jur Vrieling. Vrieling and his 11-year-old Nabab de Reve-mare Sissi van Schuttershof made the finish in 57:82 seconds.
The stage was continued by a platoon of German riders with Marc Bettinger and Quannan-R (s. Kannan) in the lead on place four. David Will completed the top five with his Rahmannshof's Baluga (s. Baloubet du Rouet).
