Winter Youth Festival: Leonie Peeters wins U25 Grand Prix

In Opglabbeek, the U25 Grand Prix was scheduled for this afternoon. 32 riders entered the show ring for this class and 12 of them managed to jump a clear first round. A jump-off with 12 combinations also had to decide about the winner. In that jump-off it was Belgium's Leonie Peeters who jumped to first place with Sunny Girl (f. Leuthen I). They jumped a clear jump-off and finsihed in 37,92 seconds. With this time she was a little bit faster than another young Belgian lady rider. Laura Mathy and Penta (f. Perigueux) left the wood untouched as well and finished in 38,53 seconds. Clara Hallundbaek completed the podium with Daker (f. Ultrillo Van de Heffinck). The rest of the top five colored all in the Belgian colors. Dieter Vermeiren rode Kingstin Twon 111 Z (f. Kashmir van Schuttershof) in 39,19 seconds to the fourth place. Boy-Adrian Van Gelderen and Be Cool (f. Vanoverbeek) ended on fifth place. Click here for the results
