USA's Kent Farrington, star of the very first Longines Global Champions Tour of Miami Beach Official poster (above), is confirmed to compete at the highly-anticipated first round of the 2015 season. "This is great exposure for the sport of show jumping," said Kent. "The Longines Global Champions Tour has been a huge boost to the sport world-wide and having the first leg of it in Miami Beach, when so many of us are in Florida already, is a great fit and exciting for everyone involved."   The World No4 and 2014 World Team Bronze medallist will head up a soon-to-be-revealed stellar line-up of the world's very best riders and horses competing over three days of world-class sport for more than $875,000 in prizes. Visitor entry to the event will be free to the public with 1,400 grandstand seats available as the 10th Anniversary season of the 'Formula One' of show jumping gets underway.   The feature class of the show, the $600,000 (€529,000) Longines Global Champions Tour of Miami Beach Grand Prix, will be contended on the afternoon of Saturday 4th April on the sun-drenched sands of Miami Beach following the Friday night highlight, the historic $127,000 (€112,000) Americal Invitational. The event takes place during a year packed with celebrations for the City of Miami Beach as it marks its 100th birthday with a busy schedule of concerts and parties.
