Wout Jan van der Schans jumps to glory in Rouen

A total of seven combinations took the start in the CSI3* Grand Prix Jump-Off in Rouen, France. After a clear finish in 39.17 seconds, Dutch show jumping rider, Wout Jan van der Schans jumped to victory aboard the 13-year-old Capetown (Oklund x Carlino). The pair was followed by local French rider, Timothee Anciaume. Anciaume and Kiamon (Kolibri x Ramiro's Match) crossed the finish faultless in 39.83 seconds. Colombia's Dayro Arroyave and Adele (by Cassini I) placed third. Also Pierre Alain Mortier made it a clear finish. Together with the 8-year-old Just do It R (by Action-Breaker) he placed fourth. The top five was completed by Gert-Jan Bruggink and Connelly 2 (by Calvados Z). Bruggink risked it all crossing the finish in a record time of 37.55 seconds, unfortunately with one rail down.
