Gregory WatheletThe international competition in Hagen kicked-off today with some nice dressage, followed by a 1m40-class. Although the majority of the competitors were German-colored it was the Dutch rider Wout-Jan Van der Schans who triumphed in this class. With under the saddle his 10-year-old Quincy W (Quidam de Revel x Corrado I) Van der Schans finished in 56:06 seconds, taking the lead with just not one second on the German Maurice Tebbel who earlier this week already won a class. Tebbel and Lava Levista ( Levisto x Dream of Glory) were followed by Belgium's number one show-jumper, Gregory Wathelet and Riesling du Monselet (Kashmir van Schuttershof x Laeken), in a third position. The top five of this class was completed by two German pairs. On the fourth place it was Holger Wulschner (Cha Cha Cha G, s. Casall) after a clear round in 57:99 seconds. His countrymen Rene Tebbel (Pacolino, s. Pageno) ended on a fifth place. click here for the results. © equnews.com - photo: equpics.com
