In the B-arena in Mechelen, the Prize 'Poels & Co' has just been ridden. In this 1,35m class, it were the Belgian rider who ruled the show. The victory went to the Belgian rider Patrik Spits. He rode his 7-year old Bellissimo Z (Bamako de Muze x Chin Chin) to the finish line in 25,60 seconds. During his course, he left all fences untouched. The second place went to Vincent Lambert. With Bogota (Balou du Rouet x Landgold) in the saddle, he jumped a clear second phase in 26,57 seconds. Catherina van Roosbroeck completed the all-Belgian top three. She saddled Imperatrice vd Donkhoeve (Lord Z x Cassini I) for the job. Kirsten Rombouts and her 9-year old stalion Bolero d'Hyrencourt (Undancer Hero x Ogano Sitte) rode a clear second phase in 27,75 seconds. This resulted in a fourth place. The biggest surprise came from the young British rider Jack Whitaker. The 15-year old ended on fifth place with Cherryfras de Rialfo Z (Cadence van T Gelutt x Nabab de Reve).
