Some months ago the FEI informed her officials they would be suspended if they cooperate with the Jan Tops' new concept, the Global Champions League team competition. After the first leg in Miami of this GCL te FEI proved to stand ground with her decision. This week the FEI has suspended Dutch course builder Rob Jansen and international judge Rogier van Iersel. It was up to the KNHS (The Dutch Equestrian Federation) to inform the officials. The FEI and the Global Champions League have been in conflict for a while now. It is jet unknown if any other officials were suspended or not. And if not why the other officials didn't get suspended.
