This year’s Longines GCT season in Shanghai will be held at the southern side of Palace of Chinese Culture, from May. 8th to May 10th. The organizer has already issued the transportation schedule for competition horses after groups of world-class horses and riders have confirmed their attendance, including the world NO.1 rider. A special airplane from Emirates Airlines will take all the horses from Belgium to Shanghai in two separate shipments. Either the number of horses or the condition of the plane will reach a peak this time. As a World’s premier five-star (the highest level) show jumping event, Longines GCT is the most influential international horse competition China has ever held. The first horses will arrive in Shanghai on May 2nd and the rest will reach 2 days later.
