Last year she took the championship in style at the LGCT final in Doha. But this year Luciana Diniz has decided to skip the event and give her top horse Fit for Fun a 'small break'. Since a few weeks the winner of last years LGCT championship, currently ranking 40th on the LGCT ranking of 2016, has been home bound due to a broken foot. With the final in Doha closing in the first week of November the Portuguese rider sees no chance to be fit in time. In a post on Facebook she lets everyone know she will not make it and wishes Edwina Alexander-Tops and Rolf-Göran Bengtsson all the best in the championship race.
