Last weekend we were at the Longines Global Champions Tour in Shanghai. While the top of the world is preparing for the 5th leg of this prestigious series, it's time to have a look at the ranking so far. At the moment it is Scott Brash who leads the list with a total of 105 points. So far the British rider won about 305,802 Euro this season. Since he joined the Longines Global Champions Tour series he's even ranked the second best earning rider with a total of 1,803,824 EURO. Still over 1M EURO less as best earning rider ever in the GCT series; Edwina Tops-Alexander (2,811,582 EURO). Current number two in the ranking, Luciana Diniz, earned 132,428 EURO so far this year. This places her on the fifth place. Swiss Pius Schwizer is the current number 3 in the LGCT 2015 ranking. He already earned 187,041 EURO with the LGCT-competitions this year. With 66 points Bassem Hassan Mohammed makes it to the fourth place, translated in a season earning of 126,697 EURO so far. The top five is completed by Henrik von Eckermann. The Swedish show jumper collected 66 points and 86,867 EURO so far. However the points do not equal the prize money, as the points collected are in particular courses ridden. Therefor Marco Kutscher is the third best earning rider in 2015 with 186,409 EURO. Still Kutscher is ranked in place 51 so far. Dutch rider, Harrie Smolders, made an extra 145,530 EURO so far. As an extra we also share that Ludger Beerbaum is the third best earning rider ever in the GCT -history. Beerbaum collected about 1,786,916 EURO in prize money so far.
