Irish rider Coyle seems to feel like a fish in fresh water in the Kralingse Forest. With Oak Grove's Carlyle (v. Casall), he won last year's Rotterdam Grand Prix on the final Sunday. Today in the ECT Prize he took the win with the 13-year-old Zangersheide mare Legacy (v. Chippendale Z).

Frenchman Gonin also rode with guts and set a fast time of 62.70 seconds with Caprice de Guinfard (v. Mylord Carthago), but that proved just not fast enough to win the challenge cup. Eric ten Cate was the best Dutchman and completed the podium on the back of Horsedeals Notre-Dame van 't Roosakker (v. Echo van T Spieveld), and rode a clear round in 63.60 seconds.

On fourth place was Zascha Nygaard Andreasen (DEN) with Primavera (v. Mylord Carthago). Kendra Claricia Brinkop (GER) closed the top five in the saddle of Ma Belle (v. Ugano Sitte).
