Like the Belgian team, the Dutch team had a total of 12 penalty points but their combined time was nineteen hundredths faster than Belgium's. With eight penalty points each, Great Britain and America were second and third, respectively. In the lead with a handsome course was Switzerland.

Martin Fuchs was last at the start with his Conner Jei (by Connor 48) and had to stay clear if he wanted to earn his team the gold. The world number six did not disappoint, staying clear of all the wood as he did in his first round.
