After the Belgian national showjumping Championships, there were rumors. Now, owner of Ermitage Kalone, Joris Van Dijck has made a statement to secure the stallion for his nephew, Gilles Thomas. "Ermitage has given our family and Gilles Thomas' team so much. That joy is not for sale. So I can say, NO he is not sold!"
"After the excitement of the Belgian Championships there was a lot to do around Ermitage Kalone. We lived in the Wild West were the most crazy stories were said. Of course there was a lot of interest for our stallion, but we didn't have very serious discussions about it. Interesting offers were made and we got the time to reflect on them, until Wednesday 11 October." says Van Dijck.
"So, today I can confirm, Ermitage is NOT sold and WASN'T sold. This stallion delivers us so much joy. My father, who is 89 years old is living the dream being able to experience this stallion and how he brings together our family. That joy is not for sale!"
