For more than 16 years, Foal Auction 111 has selected with an eye for quality, sporting potential and breeding value. This year too, the selection committee, consisting of Stijn Vandesteene and Tim Van Tricht, has put together a strong and varied collection. Buyers will once again find a mix of traditionally bred foals and modern top-sport pedigrees, from dam lines that have already amply proven their worth at the highest international level.

Ermitage Kalone from the legendary Hardrock Z family

With Eros AK Z, we present an exceptional colt by world-class sire Ermitage Kalone, combined with one of Europe’s strongest Zangersheide dam lines. Granddam Cassandra Z has already produced several international sport horses, while further back in the pedigree, names such as Hardrock Z, Charlemagne JT Z, Zippo Z and Embassador JT Z shine. A combination that is particularly interesting for both sport and breeding.

Comme Il Faut out of a 1.60 m-performing dam

Anyone looking for proven sport genes cannot overlook Cosmo des Sequoïas Z. This stylish son of Comme Il Faut is directly out of Tequila des Sequoias Z, herself successful at 1.60 m level. The Sequoias family has also produced numerous international showjumpers, giving this foal all the ingredients to develop into a future Grand Prix horse.

United Touch S combined with the 111 family

Fans of modern performance blood are also well catered for with Unicum Zoetendaele Z. This promising son of United Touch S, one of the most talked-about stallions of the moment, comes from the renowned 111 family. His dam Girlpower 111 herself competed at 1.50 m level, while granddam Ramona 111 also proved her worth in international sport. A colt that combines sporting potential and breeding value in impressive fashion.

The Carlina family continues to deliver

With Christian KH Z, the collection once again offers a direct representative of an elite sporting family. This son of Comme Il Faut has none other than MoM’s Carlina IV, successful at 1.60 m level, as his granddam. The Carlina line has ranked among Europe’s most successful sport families for many years and is synonymous with scope, attitude and international performance. 

Akarad Hero Z from a proven performance family

D’Akarad vh Klatershof also deserves a prominent place in this collection. This attractive son of Akarad Hero Z comes from a dam line in which top performance has been passed down for generations. Granddam Scarlina de Tiji Z jumped successfully at 1.60 m level, while further generations have also produced several international showjumpers. A modern-bred colt with all the ingredients for a successful sporting career.
