Gregory Wathelet: "We have to show the world our strong bond with our horses"

Horse welfare is the word overshadowing our sports these days. Yet that doesn't have to be negative. Belgium's Top Equestrian, Gregory Wathelet realizes more than ever that the presence of social media can put our sport back into the spotlight in a positive way. "Our sport consists of beautiful moments with the horse, that's what we have to show," Wathelet responds. Simultaneously, the show jumper nuances. "Although we have a great amount of good trainers, there are also people who think they are trainers but don't have the right knowledge. There is still some work to do ..."
