Germany takes Olympic Gold at dressage team championships

There was no stopping the German dressage rider today in Tokyo, undoubtly the German combinations were the strongest. Dorothee Dorothee Schneider (Showtime FRH, v. Sandro Hit x Torspon, breeder: Heinrick Wecke), Isabell Werth (Bella Rose 2, Belissimo x Cacir AA, breeder: Heinrich & Wilhelm) and Jessica von Bredow-Werndl with TSF Dalera BB (Easy Game x Handryk, breeder: Silke Fass) took the lead and did hold on in the Olympic team medal race

Every German combination did impress, resulting in a + 80% score. Eventually the best score was set for Jessica von Bredow-Werndl with her darkbay mare. The pair made an exclusive impression resulting in a topscore of 84,681%.

USA's dressage combinations took home the Silver Team Medal, with Sabine Schut-Kery and Sanceo (San Remo x Ramiro's Son II) setting the best score of 81,596%. Great-Britain claimed the bronze Olympic medal.
