Earlier this year Calou competed under the saddle of France's Valetine Belooussoff and Marie Demonte. Now the Paillot family has acquired the 12-year-old gelding.
Recently Calou jumped together some nice results at an international CSI2* and CSI3* level. In the CSIO3* Drammen Nations Cup the 12-year-old gelding placed second with thhe team. Earlier this year he also jumped to a second place in the CSI3* Grand Prix in Oliva.
Who'll be the next rider, is yet unknown. "He is just the horse we were looking for to level up our stables," state the Paillot family.
Calou was born at Egbert and Annemieke Schep's yard in the Netherlands. The son of Roven was produced at an international level by Niall Tallbot.
