Roy Wilten sells top gelding Gran Canyon van HD to the USA

Wilten Stables is selling their top BWP'er Gran Canyon by HD. Earlier this year in March, the 15-year-old gelding arrived at Roy Wilten's stable. They announced themselves on their Instagram that the 15-year-old gelding will move to America.

"Well, a sad day for us has come. The famous Gran Canyon van HD is leaving our stables here in Holland and headed to his new home in the USA. As we say goodbye to this special horse, we are incredibly grateful to have been apart of his amazing career in Europe and know that he will be loved at his new home. Congratulations to the new owners of Gran Canyon van HD", Wilten explained.

Gran Canyon is the son of Cartani 4 and previously jumped great rounds with Bart Bles and Jur Vrieling. With Bart Bles in the saddle, the gelding jumped to fourth place in the CSI4* of Maastricht and placed on the podium at the CSIO5* Nations Cup in Falsterbo. Last year the BWP gelding jumped to victory with Jur Vrieling in the CSI2* 1.40m competition. The brown gelding was trained by Belgian Nadège Janssen and previously Jérome Guery was also in the saddle of this horse.
