CSI4* Rouen cancelled

  • by Equnews Editorial
  • 15-10-2020

Earlier already it was revealed the CSI4* Equi Seine in Rouen would cancel their 2020 edition. Today the organizers have published an officiel press Release stating the cancellation.  The CSI4* show jumping competition was scheduled to take place November 19 until 22. In 2021 the organisation hopes to welcome horses and riders again.

"After weeks of planning and overthinking different scenario's we have decided to cancel the 21st edition of our event in 2020. It is with sadness we announce this news. We hope to be able to organise in 2021," writes Antoine-Guy Bréant, show director.

"We don't want to enforce economical risks to our partners as well as secure the safety of horses, riders and spectators at our event. In this context organising an event like Equi Seine is - unfortunately - not possible."
