With 100,000,000 dollars in prize money per year, the PJL will become the highest-endowed show jumping series on the calendar in 2027. While the FEI has given its approval and the first team has secured a sponsor, the calendar is unofficially becoming known. According to a verbal report published by Spring Reiter, the 14 locations where the PJL will organize events have been revealed.
The new show jumping competition by former Global Tour partner and American investor Frank McCourt, which guarantees 300 million dollars in prize money, is scheduled to kick off from April 15 to 18 in Las Vegas. From April 30 to May 2, Ocala is on the agenda, followed by the Kentucky Horse Park from May 7 to 9. The competition will then move from the US to Mexico: from May 21 to 23 at the Polo Club of Querétaro, a city in Central Mexico that has been a World Heritage Site since 1996. From June 4 to 6, Santa Anita Park awaits in California, where the Olympic Games will take place in 2028.
From there, the plan is to head to Europe, starting with St. Tropez from June 24 to 27, followed by Peelbergen from July 9 to 11. Šamorín is the next stop from July 23 to 25, ahead of Hickstead from August 20 to 22. Hamburg would follow as the tenth location, after which the tour heads to Spain, from September 10 to 12 at the Polo Club of Sotogrande near Gibraltar. The racetrack (the Snai San Siro Hippodrome) in Milan, which hosted the European Championship in 2023, is the intended next stop from September 24 to 26. This would be followed by Dubai with the playoffs from November 12 to 14, before the final in Doha from November 19 to 21.
Importantly, this calendar is still subject to approval by the FEI!
