Abdullah Al Sharbatly makes it a home win in Riyadh's 1.50m CSI4*w

Today, Belgian breeding reigned supreme in the Middle East. In the 1.50m CSI4* main class of Riyadh, Abudullah Alsharbatly claimed the ultimate victory. Riding for his home crowd, the rider won with the Belgian-bred, SBS stallion, Fiumicino van de Kalevallei (Plot Blue x Nabab de Rêve).

The stallion, bred by Gert De Sloover, was previously competed at the highest level by Jur Vrieling, who today won the main class in Poznan. Billy Twomey followed in Riyadh, just under six seconds behind with the SF stallion, Diego Del Caribe (Kannan, breeder: Mauricio Ruiz).

In third place was Ioli Mytillinaiou with the 13-year-old BWP mare, La Perla vd Heffinck (Cooper van de Heffinck) under saddle. The Greek rider and the Belgian-bred mare relegated Christian Ahlmann with Otterongo Alpha Z (Darco) to fourth place.

The top five was completed by Sergio Neuppmann Junio and the German-bred mare, Corina Blue (Chacco-Blue). Belgian breeding continued to celebrate with Emanuele Gaudiano in fifth place, riding Nikolaj de Music (Kannan).
