The Desert International Horse Park continues to serve as a world-class stage for high-stakes show jumping. During Desert Circuit III, a formidable lineup of international contenders took to the arena for the $32,000 FEI CSI5 Classic 1.45m*, a class where the margin for error was razor-thin and speed was the ultimate currency.
When the final gallop was over, Canada’s Ali Ramsay stood atop the podium after a masterclass performance with Bonita vh keizershof z (breeder: Leon Otten).
A Winning Formula
Ramsay and the Zangersheide mare proved to be in a league of their own. Executing a round defined by forward rhythm and surgical precision, Ramsay took every tight line available on the course. The duo crossed the timers in a blistering 33.88 seconds, a result that remained untouched by the rest of the field.
The Podium Contenders
on stage, Elisa Broz and Knass B delivered a sophisticated, clear effort. While they pushed the pace, they couldn't quite catch Ramsay’s time, ultimately securing a well-deserved runner-up finish. Vanessa Mannix ensured a strong Canadian presence on the podium, piloting Lehar to a consistent and rhythmic clear round to take home third.
