The international field showed its fastest side during the Holger Hetzel Sporthorses Qualification at Sentower Park. The first part of the competition saw 80 combinations at the start, with Hallie Grimes on Casachessa PS (Casallco) taking home the win. A total of 82 combinations appeared at the start of the second part, with an impressive victory by Amanda Slagter on BWP mare Pippa van de Zandhoeve (Marius Claudius). Slagter rode her course almost 4 seconds faster than Grimes!
In the first part, Julien Epaillard rode Guarana d'Auge (Casallco) to silver. Third place went to Thomas de Wit, who saddled Ice Twin Girl DW Z (I'm Special de Muze).
Massimo Grossato finished with Legend (Cascadello) just ahead of Julien Epaillard and Easy Up de Grandy (Jarnac).
Second place in the second part of the competition went to Killian Norris on O'Neill van 't Heike (Hunter's Scendix). Felipe Coutinho Mendonca Nagata finished in third place with Nektar de Vauxelles (Etoille van 't Oudbos).
Honey Lady (Balou du Rouet) finished in fourth place under the saddle of Camila Mazza De Benedicto. Roy van Beek rounded off the top 5 with Frieda (Stakkato Gold).
