In Vejer de la Frontera, Spain, during the Andalucia Sunshine October Tour, the CSIO3* 1.45m competition was held this evening. 81 participants took part in the two-phase special class, with 42 pairs completing the course clear and within time.
The victory went to Switzerland thanks to Anthony Bourquard, who relied on Esther Steiger's Festival Semilly (Tornesch) to get the job done. French rider Robin Lesqueren raced to second place with Galax du Rouet (Lauterbach), just ahead of Portugal's Rodrigo Giesteira Almeida. Almeida rode GB Diamantina (Diamant de Semilly) to third place.
Felipe Ramos Guinato chose Garota de Ipanema MC (Nartago) for the test and claimed fourth place for Brazil. Italian rider Luca Maria Moneta saddled Knock Out (Kapitol d'Argonne) and rounded off the top 5.
