While the five-star combinations are competing in Ocala, the showjumping sport continues eagerly in Wellington. In the eleventh WEF Challenge Round, Ashlee Bond claimed victory on Saturday with Night Wish. In this CSI4* class she was ahead of the competition by just a few hundredths of a second.
Ashlee Bond and her Night Wish (Naldo) secured the win in the CSI4* 1.50m. With a finish time of 41.40 seconds, the pair stayed just a few hundredths of a second ahead of Jordan Coyle and his KWPN horse, Keep Me With You N.C. (Le Tot de Semilly). Third place went to Alise Oken and Forrestal (Don Diarado).
Just outside the stage, USA's Spencer Smith placed fourth with his Irish bred, HHS Seattle (Pacino). The pair referred Canada's Nicole Walker to the fifth place. Walker completed the top five aboard Stefanie Carrol's former - Belgian bred - Panter Jvh (Le Blue Diamond v't Ruytershof).
